Day 2

More adventures today since I have no clue where anything is on the island! I had trouble falling asleep last night (I’m used to falling asleep with the tv on, but no tv…) so I didn’t wake up in time to register for my classes. There is always tomorrow. I did make it over to get a cell phone, and I ran some other errands. The hotel is in a great location. Most of the shops and restaurants are in the close vicinity, which works out well. I ate at a little place called Rick’s in the Grand Anse Shopping Centre. I also discovered that above Rick’s is a Lutheran church. I will have to check that out one day. The view from my room is gorgeous. I took a few pictures, and hopefully I can figure out how to post them on this site. It has kind of been a lonely day because most of the people that I know are with their parents. I am anxious for my roomie to get here so I will have someone to keep me company. Plus I can’t wait for us to start fixing up our room. With a little bit of work it will be a great place to live. That is all for now! I think tonight there is another pool party going on and more people will be on the island so it should be fun. As for me, I am off to go lay by the pool. I have been sitting in this room doing nothing, and I should be doing nothing while getting a tan at the same time.
