It started off as kind of a sad day. We had to put my poor roommate Brittany on a plane this morning and send her home. She has been very very sick, and no one here can seem to tell her anything. She was too sick to take the exam yesterday. Please keep her in your prayers. We want her to get well soon and come back! There just isn't a whole lot they can do here because they lack so much in the way of medical equipment. It's really kinda scary when you stop and think about it. As future docs we think she has an abscess somewhere that is causing the infection. (We're such nerds) Other than that, I'm just studying away. I am SUPER nervous for this Micro exam. It's just straight memory work, but there is soooo much. I'm working as hard as I can but it's going really slow. I do not feel good about it. It looks like it is going be a long 3 days. Hope all is well with y'all. I gotta get back to learning about all these bugs that infect our bodies...ick.
