I'm back!

Hello everyone! So I know I have been AWOL the past couple of days, but I was not here on campus so I didn't have internet. Monday I finished up midterms, and left here immediately afterwards for a little beach time. We hung out there for a while, and then went to have dinner. It was nice to actually sit down for a meal for a change. I hadn't done that in a while. I ate lobster that was delicious. The lobster down here is different. It's spiny lobster, but I still like it a lot. We went to the post midterm party which was a good time. Yesterday morning I had Anatomy lab. I no longer have it at 8AM on Fridays which is so wonderful. I was really tired in lab, but it was a good one. We did the posterior abdominal wall so we looked at the kidneys. Eve has one tiny kidney and one large one. The body next to us has a horseshoe kidney. The two kidneys fused together during development. Our Embryology professor (who also comes into the Anatomy lab) was on cloud 9 about this ordeal. I had class as usual yesterday afternoon, and then I needed a nap. I took a nap, and managed to go to bed early last night, and I'm still tired today! I wish they would have given us a couple of days after midterms to recover. We are trying to make plans for this weekend to go somewhere, but I don't think it's happening. Flights are booked and it's just a big pain. Maybe it's better that we don't go. I really do need to see Grenada. We shall see. Ok, I gotta run. Class is about to start.

It has been storming all day so that makes it very gloomy and has washed off all the beautiful azaleas. I guess I will play a few more games on the computer and read. I am glad your mid-term exms are over and that you did so well. I am very proud of you and love you very much. Mimi
