Monsoon

This morning I was awoken at 6AM by the loudest rain I have ever heard in Grenada. It was also thundering which is something you RARELY hear around these parts. When it was time to leave to go to school the rain had let up a little bit. Then we got down the road and it started pouring again. I honestly felt like I was back home in a rainstorm because there was standing water on the road. It was the strangest feeling. We got soaked walking to class. It has been raining nonstop all day. I'm so glad that momma and Mimi were here last week when the weather was much prettier. It rained while they were here but the normal 5 minute rains...not these monsoons we've been having this week. At least it's making me want to stay inside the library. I need to. Alright, back to work. I've got a ton to do before tomorrow and the big Dodgeball tourney!
