What a weekend!

It was a fantastic weekend! I got no studying done which is a little stressful, but it is all worthwhile. At least I have a 4 day weekend for Easter. The Health Fair yesterday was a fantastic experience. We saw many patients and they were so appreciative of everything. Some of them were adorable and were so happy to know that everything checked out. We had stations with blood pressure, eye and ear checkups, glucose testing and sickle cell tests for the children. Kelly and I hadn't eaten breakfast all morning so we tested our glucose to see just how low it was. Then we drank a Coke and tested it again. Who knew pricking our own fingers was so much fun? HAHA! When we left the Health Fair we stayed in town for a couple of hours walking around, shopping for a few things. Town is such a different world. I've only been down there a handful of times, and we always find fun little things. Too bad it's such a trip. Last night was the 80s party, and it was great. We had a really good time, and everyone was decked out in their 80s finest. Ok, I have to run. It's time to do some serious work.
