How is it Monday already? This weekend went by way too quickly! Saturday's Sandblast was a lot of fun! It was a huge party on the beach with professors and students. The professors were really good sports about the water balloons. They sat behind a barbwire fence, and you got to throw the balloons which would pop on the barbwire and explode onto the professors! Dr. Goodmurphy's 4 year old son even tried to throw a couple at his dad which was precious. Towards the end of the party my lab partner picked me up and threw me in the ocean. It was pretty funny, but then I realized my phone was in my pocket. It definitely died. Oh well! What can you do? Other than that, not much else happened this weekend. We still haven't gotten all of our pictures together from St. Lucia, and somehow I have no good ones on my camera. I don't know why that always seems to be the case. I will have them send them to me tomorrow, and then I will post some. For now, I will post the aerial picture I took when we flew over campus. It's a little fuzzy considering it was taken from an airplane, but I think it came out pretty nice. The big building is the library. Notice that they still have no tiled the roof since the hurricane blew it off in September. Grenadians motto for life: "Live slow. Work less." I'm not kidding!! They have t-shirts that say this. The campus is much bigger than this picture, but that was the only piece I could get from my side of the plane. Ok, I must head back to the books. Talk to you later!
