Today (Sunday) has been quite a lazy day. We haven’t done a whole lot. I was able to go register and get my schedule. Class EVERY morning at 8AM. I am dreading this. We also have a lot of small group sessions and a few labs in the afternoon that I wasn’t expecting. It is going to be a busy busy semester. Sonia arrived this afternoon and we have moved into our place. Well we are staying next door while they put the finishing touches on our house, but it’s only temporary. The biggest surprise about our house is that we have a tv in every bedroom. I’m going to be living the high life in Grenada. We really have everything you could ask for here. I will be able to cook food because we have a stove and a microwave!! It is wonderful considering I’ve already lost 3 pounds in the first couple of days. We’ve just done so much walking and it is unusually humid for Grenada. I haven’t gotten in the ocean yet. I did put my feet in and walked the beach, but I haven’t been swimming yet. Tonight our friends who live in a house on a little peninsula had a bonfire. The fire was way too hot. Who wants to be standing by a huge fire when it’s scorching outside. The best thing was that there were no lights anywhere around and you could see the entire sky. I’ve never seen so many stars in my life!! We even saw two shooting stars! It was a lot of fun, and I got to see more people who I hadn’t seen yet. It’s amazing how fun it’s been to come back. We’ve all basically said that we were dreading being back here, but now that we’re here together everything is great. Of course, that’s because we can just play at the moment. It will all change once classes start. That's all for now.
