Just another manic Monday

I was awoken this morning by someone (either Lennie or the construction workers) blaring country music. (1) You don't hear too much country in Grenada. (2) It was one of my favorites (Ricky Van Shelton) when I was little! It was a complete blast from the past. I started singing much to Kelly and Sonia's horror. They were definitely frightened by the fact that I knew all the words and that I was singing them at 7AM. I told them they could thank my Aunt Scottie for introducing me to him. When I got to "dance" at the Saints game, I think Ricky Van Shelton was all I would let Aunt Scottie play in her van to and from the Superdome. I loved it! It's so funny when something triggers a memory like that and how much it helped my homesickness. STRANGE!
Class was fine this morning. It was just more information that I need to learn for the midterm. Now I'm just sitting in the library studying away. I'll be here until it's time to go home and go to bed. Oh the things I do to myself to become a doctor! I actually really don't mind it, even though I do complain that I'm always studying. What can I say, I'm such a nerd! Talk to you later!
