Happy Turkey Day!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving! Eat lots of turkey and dressing for me! I will be enjoying my turkey sandwich from Subway this evening, and that is my Thanksgiving dinner. It's strange not celebrating it, and I HATE not being at home right now. At least I will be home in a few short weeks!!! I think the strangest part of today was walking down the hill to get some food around 12:30 and the Macy's Day Parade was on the television. Everyone looked so cold on tv. Oddly enough, I long for that day when I can wear a sweater! As much as I hate the cold, eternal summer is not that great. I constantly have to think about what month it is. I can hardly believe they are playing Christmas music already! The Christmas music is hysterical here. Some of the songs are the same. The other day I walked into the store and they were playing We Wish You a Merry Christmas. However, the words here are different ("We wish you a Happy Christmas and a dancin' New Year") and it's put to this little reggae beat. Ok, back to the Neuro. Sooo much to do, and so little time!

PS Glad to hear the people in Slidell are taking the day off and celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanks for the update Mrs. Jean and Mr. Dave! Hope you had a great day!

I hope you enjoyed your turkery sandwich yesterday. That's more then I got. I had the stomach flu and was in bed for 2 days! I got to sit in bed and smell the turkey cooking. It was horrible!!! I had been looking forward to eating turkey for about a month. Oh well there is always Christmas. I hope things are going well. Not too much longer untill you are home. Love and miss you!
