not much news

The strike yesterday was apparently a reason for the Grenadians to throw a party in the streets. At least that's what I've been told. One of my roommates tried to leave the house around noon and it took her an hour and a half to get to the grocery which is a 10 minute drive with heavy traffic. She said it was ridiculous. There was an entire parade in the street. Everyone was wearing red. I'm kinda sad I missed it. I don't think anything was resolved, but I don't know if it will continue on Monday. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Everything here is going fine. I'm just studying away. I just tried to take a practice test and it didn't go so well. Not a good sign. Anyways, thought I would just say hello. Gotta run now.
