Thrown into the lion's den

Today was a terrifying day...the beginning of Pathology! We had four hours of lecture this morning (two Micro and two Path). The first Path lecture was the normal boring introduction stuff and then we really got into the second hour. I had a break from 12-1 and then I had lab. I lucked out and am in the 1st lab which runs from 1-3PM. So instead of getting out at 5, I'll be out by 3. I need these two hours. Although in about a month they will be gone as I will start Physical Exam labs for two hours every afternoon as well. That will be fun, but free time is really a thing of the past. Lab was an introduction, but they failed to mention what exactly we had to do. They told us we would be starting tomorrow, and that was about all. I have a fantastic group (we got to choose the people we wanted to work with). I am in a group with 9 boys and one other girl. Go figure. We have no clue as to what we are actually doing tomorrow, but we split up the work. I worked the rest of the day on my slides that I will be presenting tomorrow in lab. You are given several slides with various things on them. You are to present to your group the disease, cause of the disease, mechanism, etc. TIME CONSUMING WORK, but very interesting. Ok, I must crawl into bed. I have a long week ahead of me, and I need as much sleep as I can get.
