Survived Week 1

One week of Pathology is complete! I decided to take yesterday off from studying. I have been so on top of everything I could afford a nice break. I started cooking several things that I could eat throughout the course of next week. I made one thing, but then I was invited to go to dinner with some friends. I didn't pass up the opportunity. We went to this brand new restaurant on the island called Mona Lisa. It is located near to my house. It was FANTASTIC. I felt like I was on vacation. It is a quaint place that is decorated beautifully. We are now best friends with the owners, an Italian woman and her daughter. They liked us so much that they gave us three free desserts! They kept bringing us food. I've never been so full. The fun thing about it was that most of the vegetables and spices were grown in a little garden right next to the restaurant. Everything was so fresh! They change the menu every 5 days. It was a treat. We were there for a short 4 hours. HAHA! Now I'm sitting here studying some Microbiology. I had my pleasant night, now it's back to work. Hope all is well where you are.
