Case of the Mondays

How did the weekend pass by so quickly? I was not ready for it to be Monday already! This morning I had to go to this 2 hour session for my Professional Development Program. We learned how to search online journals. Talk about a waste of my morning! Oh well. I never have to do it again at least. I have other assignments due for that class which is so aggrevating! It's not like Anatomy, Biochem, Embryology and Histology are enough. They have to keep piling on more work. This afternoon we had class as usual. Poor Dr. Chadwell is the most anal British Biochemist ever. A girl got up in the middle of class to get a handout (you would think in a class of 350 he wouldn't notice this), and he just stopped the lecture, looked at her and said, "No wonder everyone did so bad on the Unified Quiz!" Poor girl! I felt bad for her. I went home for a little while and then came back here for some study time. We went and grabbed dinner here at school, and I decided to try something different since I am getting burned out on the school food (only because I eat 2-3 meals a day at school). I know better than to branch out and try something new here! I ordered nachos...you would think those were safe. Let's just say I got my veggies tonight. My nachos had peas, string beans, corn, lima beans, carrots, and cheese!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? It was like they took one of those bags of frozen veggies and threw it on top of some chips. Take it from me, peas on chips...not so good. Just having to relive it as I type this to you is making me naseous all over again. I used to complain about the food at the hospital, but compared to this that is like eating at Commander's Palace or something! At the moment I would give anything for some of the famous whooped potatoes and chicken corn-on blue! Well that's a bit of an exaggeration. Oh Grenada, you crack me up! More adventures to come, but for now I must get back to the books. Love y'all!
