I "heart" Eve!

Happy Friday, everyone! Well it was the biggest day ever in Anatomy lab. Today's dissection: the heart, hence the title of today's post. HAHA! I feel like that is the type of line my dad would say. It's nice and corny! Only one group out of the 4 lab groups got to do this dissection, and somehow I was the lucky group. It was honestly one of the most fascinating and most disgusting things I have ever done. It wouldn't have been disgusting if Eve's heart wasn't filled with massive blood clots. Oh let me warn you before you scroll down! I have uploaded a picture of me from this morning in lab. I just had to post it, but it might gross people out so I thought I would give you fair warning. I have class this afternoon as usual, and then it is the weekend! I feel like this was such a short week since we had the quiz on Monday. Tomorrow is beach day, and I can't wait! I will have to do some major studying while at the beach, but that is ok with me. Studying isn't bad when you are getting a tan at the same time. Next week I have my table quiz in Anatomy and we will be tested on the heart so I need to know it really well. So my plan for the weekend is to study Anatomy and Biochem. Since the Unified on Monday Biochem has gotten tough! We had 8 lectures in that class this week (2 each day!) and that is how it will be from now til the end of the semester. Ok, I am running to meet up with everyone for lunch. Hope all is well your way.
