Brief summary of the weekend

My apologies for not posting yesterday, but I never made it over to campus so I didn't have internet access. As I am in the library now studying away, I thought I would give you a brief summary of what I did over the weekend. Friday night was The Surge party, and it was a lot of fun. They had two bonfires on the beach! Dr. Brahim was at the party which was hysterical. I thought it would be fun to test him and see if he remembered my name. His response, "Melissa from New Orleans." Now I'm scared. He's the type to pick on you in class...great! Yesterday was an uneventful day. I did some studying, but not as much as I wanted to. The boys went to market and bought food so we had Fancy Food Club last night. That's what the boys named it. They crack me up! They grilled fish and fresh plantains from market and had some rice. It was excellent! After dinner I went back to my room and studied for a bit. I was so tired that the studying wasn't going anywhere so I went to bed early. This morning I woke up and studied by the pool for about an hour then came over to campus. I have been sitting in this cubicle ever since studying Anatomy. My first big quiz is in a week so I want to make sure I know everything. Well that is all for now. I must get back to my work.
