The school sent us about 50 e-mails saying that we had to attend a mandatory financial aid meeting this morning at 9:30. Well I figured I would go because it would make me get up at a reasonable time. I wish I would have slept the extra hour. I basically got yelled at for an hour by this horrible women, and it was not helpful at all. Plus, they didn’t even take attendance. I was not happy. Afterwards I studied in the library and then spent some quality time with Eve (my cadaver finally has a name!). I feel so much better about all this Anatomy stuff since then. I was really overwhelmed but the best way to learn is to go look on the cadaver. It makes so much more sense. I studied for a couple hours more in the library and then went to a Biochem review session. Those things are great. Basically you review everything you learned the week before. Then they ask you old test questions to give you an idea of the things you should know come test time. After that I came home, took a break for a little while and then Jenn, Jack, Mike and I studied more Anatomy. My brain is mush at the moment. Too much information went in there today. It is nice to have the weekends to go over all this stuff, but you know that come Monday more info is coming your way! Sadly I got no sun this weekend. I went for a quick swim in the ocean yesterday, but that was all. Yesterday the water was the roughest it has been since I have been here so the swim was tough. Some of my guy friends actually flew to Barbados yesterday, bought surfboards and flew home. Then they got up at 6AM this morning to surf. Crazy kids! Although they said they would teach me, but I saw how bruised they were from wiping out so I think I will pass on that one. I might try to get up early tomorrow morning and go lay by the pool. I don’t have class until 1. Good plan. Stay tuned…
