BOOOO

Today has not been the greatest day. When classes ended today, my should have been roommate came up to me and told me they are making her move into my room. It turns out she somehow has been living in a room by herself at Grand Beach as well. I don’t know how that happened, but I am depressed. I loved having a room to myself, and I’ve already set my study schedule and wake up schedule. Now I’m going to have to adjust all this. (I know I sound like a big baby) She is evidently trying to stay put, and I hope they will let her. Although, I heard the university was really upset with how many people had single rooms so they are going to combine them. This is such my luck. Please say your prayers that they let her stay in that room. She is a very nice person, but I just don’t think we have a lot in common. Also, why did she move into another room and never move into our room? I just think that is plain weird! Other than that little bit of bad news things have been good. I had Histology lab this morning and class this afternoon. I went home for a little while to take a swim and clear my head. Now I’m back on campus waiting for some food, and then I will be cracking the books. I am going to post some more pictures of the scenery. This morning there were two cruise ships docked our my side of the island, and that was the first time I had seen two. Evidently the QE2 comes here every now and then but on the other side. If I find out when it is coming in, I am going to go check it out. It’s so beautiful down here, but I don’t know if my pictures do it justice. You need to see it in person (hint hint, mom and dad). So evidently there is this three week program this summer in Prague where you shadow doctors and take a class or two. You get two credits here, and evidently it is super fun. A couple of my friends have already signed up, and they want me to go. Hmm. The only thing holding me back is my short summer break. I only get 8 weeks as is, and I feel like I will be wanting to spend that time in the US. I will keep you updated on the roomie situation...
