I LOVE the smell of formaldehyde in the morning

Ok, not really, it is pretty stinky, and since I haven’t been home since 9AM this morning (it’s 9PM my time) I’m still smelling like it! I’m sure everyone in the library is thinking “There’s a first termer.” It definitely wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Some people had issues with the smell, but it didn’t bother me. Anatomy lab is honestly the coolest thing I have ever been to in my life. I am in a group of 4, but there are three other groups of 4 working on the same cadaver so it turns out that 16 people share a body. I must admit it is a little strange to walk into a room with 20 dead bodies lying around. My cadaver is female, and today we “skinned” her. I was definitely the first one in my group to cut, and it was amazing even though I didn’t do it right. No one knew what they were doing so I would rather be the first one! We were only in there for an hour today, but I could have spent a lot more time. Soon enough I’ll be complaining that I spend too much time in there! This afternoon I had two hours of Anatomy lecture and two hours of Biochem lecture. I ate my first meal at 5 when classes ended, and then had to go to CPR class from 7-8. I’m kicking myself for not taking CPR at the hospital while I was home. I have to go to CPR again tomorrow from 4-8PM, and take a test on Tuesday. It’s not hard just inconvenient. Ok, I must get back to studying. What a way to spend a Friday night…sitting in the library studying Biochemistry. Hope all is well with you, and I will talk to you soon!
