Hello! I got an hour break from class today which is the greatest thing ever so I am taking this time to write some e-mails and update the journal. The big news of the day is laundry. I was really concerned about the laundry situation because the washers and dryers that are on the Grand Anse campus are not close to my hotel. From what I understood, I thought they were much closer than what they turned out to be. There is no way I would drag all my laundry down the beach to have to wait for the few washers and dryers they have over there. Well there is a lady that will come to my hotel, pick up my laundry, wash, dry and fold it, and bring it back to me the next day. It's not expensive at all! I am so excited!! Plus, she is making a fortuen because everyone living my hotel is giving her their laundry. If I was a local I would definitely be in the laundry business. No more news about the roomie situation. We have a mandatory meeting tonight at the hotel, and the rumor mill says it's about consolidating rooms. Bummer. Well I have to get back to class now. Time for two hours of Professional Development lectures...don't you wish you were me?
