Well it’s a weekend of studying. I feel so behind in Anatomy, although I’m really not. I plan on being an expert of the back and spinal cord before Monday. It was nice to sleep in this morning. Although, I didn’t really catch up on any sleep considering I went to bed around 4:30AM! I slept til 10 and then Jenn called me to go over some Anatomy stuff. I think that’s why I’m feeling behind just because I didn’t know it as well as I wanted to. We grabbed some lunch, and then it was back to the books. We have NO water at all today! You gotta love the third world. Having no water is about the toughest thing ever. The toilet doesn’t flush, and you can’t even brush your teeth! I feel disgusting. The water would come on momentarily but when it did the power would go out. So I guess if I had to pick and choose, I would take the electricity because I have AC. It’s really cloudy and windy today so it’s not ideal to study poolside because my papers would fly everywhere. Instead I have been sitting outside on my little balcony so I am not stuck indoors. Tomorrow I have to go finish up my Anatomy lab work, and it’s going to take a while so I know I will be inside most of the day. My friend Matt’s wife (she’s still living in the states) sent him a mini barbecue pit. They went to the fish market in the town of St. George’s today and bought fresh marlin. So the boys cooked us dinner! We had grilled marlin, veggies and rice. It was wonderful! I have eaten so much fish lately because it is so good down here. Last night we ate at this cute restaurant and the waitress convinced me to order the fish burrito. Sounds disgusting, right? It was so good! I ate chicken the first week and a half I was here and I couldn’t take it any more. I would kill for a hamburger right about now. It’s not that they don’t have them here, but the meat is not good. Well it is time for bed. I am exhausted, and I have a long day of studying ahead of me. Goodnight!
