So Jenn and I decided we were tired of being pasty-white medical students because after all we are living in the Caribbean. We got up at 8AM to lay out for a little while before lab at 10. It helped a little, and we plan on doing it again tomorrow. Histology lab was super exciting as usual. I mean what could be more fun than looking at cells in a microscope for 2 hours?? Please note the sarcasm. The only good thing I can say about Histo lab is that it helps you understand the material, even though it is quite boring. To the picture I posted yesterday, I have added everyone's name and where they are from since dad was fussing at me. Overall it has been a good day. I had a full schedule this afternoon with Histology, Embryology, and two lectures in Biochemistry. During the first Biochem lecture, the professor giving lecture #2 was sitting behind me. He's this little British man (very mad scientist looking with the crazy hair and huge glasses). Well he kept burping! It was so gross, but at the same time so funny. I seriously thought at one point I was going to lose it. Tonight will be a busy one studying. Our first unified quiz (unified meaning, one quiz on every subject I am taking) is coming up the Monday after next. I feel like I need to start studying for that especially in Embryology because our textbook finally came in this week. That's all folks (til tomorrow)!
