Full day of studying

Today was a national holiday, but being the 4th termer that I am, holidays = catch up days. Campus is deserted today. Most people either flew home for the long weekend or have decided to spend the day at the beach. Lucky ducks. I wish I was at home right now. There isn't a whole lot of stuff going on. Yesterday I had Micro lab and then Physical Exam lab. Micro was interesting. They give us case studies that we have to solve in our groups. However, you are only allowed to use the internet and your book. No notes allowed. I started doing some searches online and discovered the EXACT case that they had given us. However, they had omitted a few key points. When we were asked what we thought it was, we said 100% that it was E.coli. (The answer was there was no definitive answer with the info provided) While working on the next case one of the tutors came over and basically just started yelling at us about how disappointed she was that we were so certain we knew what it was. If that was the case then they shouldn't have been too lazy to pull a clinical case directly off the internet, word for word. After that we had Physical Exam where we learned to do all the fun eye tests. Looking in the ophthalmoscope proved to be more difficult than I had imagined. I couldn't see anything. HAHA! I definitely need some practice on that one. Well I better run. Hope you all enjoy your weekend and Happy Easter.

PS I don't think I will be attending the same church service I did last year. I'm going to try the on campus service. It won't provide as interesting a story, but then again you never know!!
