Today was one of those rare days when I didn't have anything to do in the afternoon. NO LAB! Class was relatively easy as well. We had two Nutrition lectures (I love that class by the way) and then clinical case discussions for Pathology. Those are so nice because you are doing group work. It is so much better than listening to someone lecture. The only thing I dislike about it is that you have to present your findings to the entire class and Dr. B asks you all sorts of questions. I usually win the fight within my group and don't get the duty of presenting. However, our case this week was breast cancer. I am quite the expert in that area! I never realized how much I learned working in the Mammo Dept, but that is the easiest section of Pathology ever!! (Thank you, Mammo Queens!!!) However, I got stuck with the microphone and our group had to go first. It went fine, but I always get sooo nervous. I hate to run, but I have to go work out. We are possibly going to the small fishing village of Guayave (pronounce Guave) tonight. Every Friday night is Fish Friday. They block off an entire street and the fisherman cook their catches of the day. Apparently it is a ton of fun. I just don't know if I really feel like driving all the way up there. I'll let you know how it goes if we do. Have a great weekend.
