GUTS

Well it was an interesting day. It started off with my table quiz which went wonderfully then we had to move onto today's dissection. It wasn't really a dissection. We only made one incision and then we just played with the guts. I learned all sorts of fun things about Eve this way! She definitely had gallbladder problems and she had an appendectomy. We also discovered that she had a heart attack by scar tissue in the heart, but we don't think that is how she died. All very interesting. This afternoon I had class til 5. By the time I got out of there I was smelly and exhausted so I went home to shower and nap. I never got that nap, but at least I am clean! Now I am back here studying, or attempting to study. I think I'm just too tired for my brain to function at the moment. I'm going to head home soon and call it an early night. Tomorrow afternoon I have a mock practical Anatomy midterm. We have to go into the lab and they have certain things pinned and you have to identify them. It will be a good way for me to judge how far along I am and how much cracking down I have to do! Hope all is well your way! Have a great weekend!
