DODGEBALL

This morning was the first Friday in a long time that I could actually sleep in. However, the maid came and woke me up at 9AM...ugh. I told her to just clean my bathroom. The rest of the place was fine. Sonia, Jenn and I went to grab a sandwich at Nick's. Dr. Chadwell showed up as usual, but the line was too long so he left. Too bad. I was looking forward to eating lunch with him again. Class this afternoon was long, but somehow I made it through. Then comes the highlight of the week: the dodgeball tournament. I was not playing (although I wish I would have) but I had some friends who formed a team. I decided to be designated cheerleader. They KILLED the first team they played, then they had to play Team Modica. Team Modica was a bunch of 4th termers. They are named after our chancellor, Chancellor Modica. The guy from Ponchatoula was on this team. Well after Team Modica beat my poor little first term friends, the kid from Ponchatoula, Lance, decides he's going to be Joe Horn. His friend passes his a cell phone and he pretends to talk on it. I was FURIOUS! They ended up winning the whole tournament, but they are a bunch of cheaters. People on the team would get out but wouldn't leave the court. It was so irritating. All in all, this event was probably the greatest thing on this campus. I had so much fun. It would definitely be a great episode of my reality show, Club Med School. I need to contact MTV about this idea. I seriously think it might work. Ok, I must run. I need to go eat dinner. Have a great weekend! I know I will since Monday I have no class once again! WOO HOO!

Dear Melissa, Your Mother and I attended Paula's graduation ceremony yesterday. While listening to the processional I was reminded of your graduation from Vanderbilt last year. I believe your ceremonies were on the second weekend of May?
