This morning was a record breaker. None of us had to be woken up. I was the last one up and almost fell over when I realized that everyone was already up! We're getting on a good schedule. Today we were supposed to have the usual Physio, Neuro and then two Genetics lectures were scheduled. After the first lecture, our Genetics professor told us to have a good day. We were almost out the door when he realized we had another one. SO CLOSE. I sat through the next lecture starving, but I survived. We grabbed lunch at Rick's. They have the best burgers on the island (not saying a whole lot. I wouldn't call it a Times burger, but I can't be too picky!). This afternoon I had my first Neuro lab. I was very sad to discover that I won't be in Anatomy lab looking at a real human brain. We're only using models. This also means that you will not get to see a picture of me holding a human brain (I'm sad that I don't get to take one). They have had to revamp the entire Gross Anatomy lab because they were only able to get 10 cadavers this semester. I am so lucky. I could be one of the last classes that actually got to dissect. HOW SAD! Neuro lab isn't too bad. A lot of visual learning which is key to learning the brain. There is so much going on there! Well I need to run get some work done. I promise to post more pictures tomorrow. I got Sonia's, but I still need Pete's and mine. Once I get those I will put them up.
