Melissa Kathryn Jones, DDS

Ok, not really, but we dissected the mouth today. It was our last dissection! I do have lab next week but I just have to go in and be quizzed on today's dissection. Eve remarkably had all of her teeth. A lot of tables had dentures or tons of missing teeth. We were able to see all of those pearly whites. Well they weren't pearly white, but a nice brown. I could never be a dentist. Lab let out at noon, and I had to be at Small Group training for Biochem from 12-1. Right after that let out we began class. So today has been an extremely long day, 9AM-5PM with no breaks. I am EXHAUSTED. After class we had to go check on our house. We put a deposit down, but there is some type of problem which hopefully we can get resolved. Although, the landlord was not there when we showed up...that would have been too simple. We grabbed dinner and then I had to go shower because I still smelled of formaldehyde from this morning. I am just getting back to campus, and I have not even begun any work today. Oh well. If I would have stayed on campus I don't think I would have gotten anything accomplished in these past couple of hours anyway. In other news, it is my turn with the skull. Each lab group is assigned a skull that we can take home and look at while studying Anatomy. It is just the strangest thing. I have been carrying around a box with a human skull in it! Plus I'm so scared I'm going to drop it or leave it somewhere that I really don't like having it in my possession. I won't even mention how much it costs to replace one of these things. Let's just say it is a lot! Ok, I must try to accomplish something. There's so much to do, and finals will be here before I know it!
