I had another hospital visit yesterday. It was a General Med rotation...nothing real exciting. It was more taking history and doing a physical exam. Our poor patient was a young girl and was scared to death of us. I felt so bad for her. Once again it was unbearably hot in the hospital. I do prefer the surgical rotations because then you are in the AC. It got so hot at one point that Brittany almost passed out. She had to leave and go sit in the breeze. I'm more adapted to the heat than most...comes with living in Louisiana your whole life. I have to run to my Pharm group now. I promise to post more often once I get on a better schedule. For now, I'm still trying to figure out when they allow you time to study this term. It seems like I have so little time, and I don't know why.
