Another visit to the ER

So I was in the ER once again this afternoon. This experience was much different than the first. It was not a good one. We had a patient that spoke with the thickest Caribbean accent that we could not understand him. At first it was pretty funny because we all just stood and looked at each other. I understood about every 5-10 words out of his mouth, and he talked non-stop. Our doctor was an hour late arriving for our rotation and hadn't even interviewed the patient. Then he tried to tell us some crazy diagnosis and I am still not convinced. I feel like I know more about the patient since I actually interviewed him. I stand by what I said (that I think the patient is on drugs), but whatever. It's very possible that I was wrong. It was a difficult experience due to the language barrier that maybe the doctor knows more than I do.
There's not really anything else going on. Just trying to keep up in my studies. Gotta run get ready for bed. Goodnight, everyone!
