Back to work!

I had another Pediatrics rotation this afternoon. It was quite different from my first experience. The momma was not there so we had to rely on some cousin to tell us the history. Well that was just about impossible. She didn't know enough. Then the poor little thing was so sick she would not let us even touch her. She screamed and screamed. It was rough. There was the one side of me that was wanting to just let her be. Who wants to be poked and prodded by medical students when you are in a lot of pain? Then there was the other side of me saying "If we don't do this properly we are going to get eaten alive by the doctor overseeing our case. Well we got in trouble. Not too bad, but the doc was not very happy with us. Guess I better get used to it. I know once I reach my clinical years they will not be so lenient. Not much else is going on here. It was a very relaxing weekend. Did a whole lot of nothing. I basically spent the entire time at some of my guy friends' house and watched football. It was very enjoyable.
